Gonge Hilltops are designed to help children develop balance, coordination, and body awareness while having fun. They support both static balance (standing still) and dynamic balance (moving), encouraging children to estimate distances and become familiar with different heights in a playful way.

Younger children may begin by using their hands as they crawl and climb from one hilltop to another, gradually building strength and confidence. As they grow and feel more secure, they start to walk up and down the hilltops without using their hands. The non-slip rubber rim on each hilltop helps ensure they can do this safely.

Children naturally love to challenge themselves and explore movement. Playing with hilltops requires balance, motor control, and coordination as they walk uphill and downhill, practising weight transfer from one foot to the other. Each top has rubber feet to prevent slipping and sliding, and they are designed so they will not overturn during play.
